Coaltech is the longest running collaborative program in the mining industry.

Established as a non-profit organisation to address the research needs of the South Africa Coal Industry, Coaltech’s main purpose is the application of research findings and development of technology from these findings to ensure the industry remains competitive, sustainable, and safe.
